DON’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT….

Connie Article Aug 28

Now that travel is happening again, before you take to the open road or the friendly skies, think about where you can play pickleball during your travels.  To help you locate a court on your travels, just go to https://www.places2play.org/

I have played on the courts in Cambria (which is the inspiration for the design of our courts) and it was such fun meeting the local club members and travelers who stopped in to play.

DUST OFF YOUR WALKING SHOES…..

Once again it is almost time for the Alzheimer’s Walk for a Cure.  The OPC again this year is organizing a team and the walk will be held on October 9th at Sonoma State University.  For more information on this wonderful cause and exciting event and to join the TEAM, go to the website act.alz.org/goto/OakmontPickleball  or contact Teresa Howard (willowhill1@yahoo.com), Connie Medeiros (almccm@yahoo.com) or Liz Majkowski (lizmajkowski24@gmail.com)

WHAT’S THE SCORE?????

A little trick to help with scoring is to remember who is on the right hand side of the court when the game begins….every time that person is on their right hand side of the court, that team’s score will be even; when that person is on their left hand side of the court, that team’s score will be odd….check it out next time you play.

CLUB LOGO WEAR
